Fall Fundraiser
Q&A on our PTSA fundraisers

The PTSA has TWO fundraisers running for the next two weeks. In an effort to address any questions you may have, we've put together a little Q&A for you :)

  1. What are the two fundraisers? One fundraiser offers live (great smelling) holiday decorations from Sherwood Forest in Washington State and the other b) is a catalog full of well made, fun and useful items from BOON Supply.
  2. Why are we doing two? We want you to be able to choose how you would like to support the school. Not everybody likes the same stuff!
  3. How do I order? We will include the links in this email but they are also located on the bocamiddleptsa.com site.
  4. How can I help? You can shop! In addition, please share the links with your friends and family. The more you share, the better for the school.
  5. How much goes back to the school? Boon Supply gives 40% of everything you order back to the school and ships everything straight to you. Sherwood Forest has a sliding scale. The two items labeled "local delivery" deliver to the school for pick up and give the following percentage back: Reindeer ($40%) 22" wreath (50%). The DIRECT delivery items can be shipped anywhere and give a smaller percentage back (depends on the item).
  6. What is the money for? The PTSA provides the upfront funds for all of the agendas and Cobra t-shirts each year school-wide. Student Agendas for ALL Students. We also fund Spirit Week and Boca Bash, the 8th grade dance, teacher appreciation week, A/B Honor Roll ceremonies, and much more throughout the school year.
  7. What exactly is Boon Supply? Boon is a fundraising catalog of wide ranging gifts. Boon started with environmentally friendly reusable bags in cute designs but now has jewelry, tech gadgets, lunchboxes, coolers, wrapping paper, kitchen gadgets, cookie dough, pancake mix, string bracelets for kids...I could go on but, suffice it to say there is something for everyone and it's a great way to get a little holiday shopping done and help the school at the same time.
  8. Do I pay online? YES! Easy as pie! No order forms, no sending in checks. You order online, you pay online.
  9. How do I get my Local Delivery Wreath? In order for the greenery to ship on time, ALL Sherwood Farms orders are due Nov 5th. The two Local Delivery items are a fantastic value b/c we have cut out the middle man. They deliver straight to the school and we will have a pickup date TBD.
